So lately I’ve been playing a lot of Path of Exile since it came into open beta. Let me tell you, this game is easily what Diablo 3 should have been. Complete customization, unique skill systems, and a beastly talent tree. I’ve found me a new dungeon crawler.
To my surprise it works out really well in Eyefinity across 3 24” monitors too!
Finally finished building/upgrading my PC!
New mobo, case, processor, and cooler. I’d say the endless hours at HEB this break definitely paid off.
I’ve named him Loki after all of the trouble it gave me when building him.
Coincidentally my roommate’s computer is named “Thor”.
I put Skyrim on my Solid State Drive today.
Suddenly I have close to zero loading screens; I don’t even have time to read the tips Skyrim gives me.
I recently started playing Skyrim again since I reformatted my computer and decided to start fresh for a few reasons:
- I didn’t pick up Archery or Mods until maybe the last 70+ out of 300+ hours of my first character’s play through and I had already finished the majority of the game. I wanted to experience everything as a sneak archer again
- After learning the correct process I was able to smith and enchant weapons on my first character that did upwards of 700 Damage a shot which made the game too easy even on master.
I’ve decided to not fast travel, power level blacksmithing, nor super enchant, while playing on Master. I have to say that I’ve fallen in love with Skyrim again. Can’t wait to get the DLCs.
Damn, it’s been a while since I’ve had a weekend to myself when I could just game and jam out to some good music. Feels good man.
So I was playing Guild Wars 2 on my tablet when my head exploded at the possibilities of what I learned how to do tonight.
Even more incentive to vomit up an extra $100 for the keyboard dock.

So I finally got my claws on an SSD today!
Slapped Windows along with a few other games on it (cough Guild Wars 2 cough). Hello, 10 second post starts.
I also FINALLY got rid of that pesky 5.2 windows rating on my old HD. :3
My friends and I went to a pretty big LAN party in San Antonio this weekend held in an office building in the middle of downtown on the 11th floor.
Was pretty epic.
I thought you all might get a kick out of this.
